Grande's... Still the best pizza in town

Pizza seems to be a big conversation topic in the local foodie world. As I mentioned in my first post, I feel like Grande's on the south side has the best pizza in town. I just got back from having lunch there and I have to say, I am sticking to my original opinion. I had a coke and two slices, one meatball and one cheese steak. Many would argue that cheese steak pizza tries to combine two autonomous food entities that should never be put together. In some cases I would agree that certain foods shouldn't be fused together but I have to say... this one works!

In the next week, expect a post on Theo's Wings and Cornbread, The Bagel Factory and Sharky's. Also there is a new update on the Sake-Tumi post.

  1. Surprisingly Mad Moose has some great brick oven pizza. You should check it out... Maybe do a little bit of compare and contrasting.
Actually, word on the street is that their whole menu kicks some serious tokhes.

  5. @Joy: I have seen Mad Moose's Pizza and it looks good. I have seen their brick oven that burns wood and it looks good. But, I feel like that place doesn't know if it is a bar or a restaurant. They need to make up their mind.

@Diviani: Thanks for the complement. If you have any feedback or would like to review a restaurant for your self please feel free to comment on other posts.

@Ryan: Oakdale Pizza does not seem like an obvious choice for quality pizza but the next time I am in Bing I might have to check it out.
